How warranties work on Shut The Front Up

Shut The Front Up is a marketplace that introduces customers to independent suppliers. Product and installation warranties are provided by the supplier you choose, not by the platform.

Our comparison board asks suppliers to describe their warranty terms and clearly flags required comparison information they have not supplied. Check the complete written warranty before accepting an offer.

Warranty terms to compare

  • The exact product, component or motor covered
  • The workmanship or installation warranty period
  • Exclusions, maintenance conditions and claim process
  • Whether the supplier or manufacturer handles each type of claim

Always read the warranty terms on your chosen supplier’s quote before accepting.

What’s usually not covered

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or accidents
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Modifications by anyone other than the original supplier
  • Damage from extreme weather events

Making a warranty claim

Warranty claims are handled directly between you and the supplier who installed your product. Their contact details and warranty terms are included with your quote and order confirmation.

If you can’t reach your supplier or need help escalating, contact us at sales@shutthefrontup.com.au with your quote reference and we’ll help connect you.
